3. SHOOTING

Units have a field of fire of 360º. The procedure for shooting is as follows:

Measure Range. Infantry, Anti-Tank Guns and Tanks have a range of 12”; Mortars have a range of 48.”

Assess Casualties. Units roll a die when shooting, the score of which is modified according to the table below:

The result indicates the number of hits the target suffers, unless it benefits from any of the following:

Cover. Infantry in woods or towns only acquire half the registered number of hits (fractions are always rounded in favour of the unit shooting).

Hilltops. A Tank unit deployed on a hilltop only suffers half the indicated level of hits (fractions are rounded up in favour of the unit shooting).
